How does my school earn money when I shop through Shopping4Schools.com?

Shopping4Schools.com has negotiated partnerships with several online merchants to provide advertising in return for a commission from each qualifying purchase made using the links on our site. When you click on the links on your school's fundraiser page to make purchases, those sales are automatically recorded and we share our commission with your school.


How much will my school earn?

We have negotiated different rates with each merchant. They typically range between 1 1/2% and 15%. In most cases you will be able to find the percentage your school will earn from each purchase you make in the merchant information section. These amounts are subject to change, but we will always try to update the website as soon as possible in the event of a change.


How long does it take for my school to receive a check?

We issue checks on a quarterly basis according to the following schedule:
1st Qtr: Jan - Mar, checks issued on May 15th.
2nd Qtr: Apr - Jun, checks issued on August 15th.
3rd Qtr: Jul - Sep, checks issued on November 15th.
4th Qtr: Oct - Dec, checks issued on February 15th.

I just got an email directly from an online merchant advertising a sale, if I click on the link in the email will my school still earn money?

No, in order for your school to earn money you have to use the links on your school's fundraising page. Once you have ordered from a merchant they may send you emails directly. If you place another order using the links found in these emails your school will NOT earn money from that purchase. In most cases you will be eligible for the same sales being offered when you use the link on your school's fundraiser page. So please bookmark this page for easy access and always remember to use it.

Will I receive confirmation that I have earned money for my school?

When you click on a merchant's link you will be leaving www.Shopping4Schools.com and going directly to the merchant's page to place your order. It takes a couple days for your order to show up in our system, so we cannot provide you with instant confirmation. If you are concerned, you can always contact us when you receive your order, providing us with the order date, amount of the order and the store you purchased from and we will be able to confirm that you have earned money for your school and how much. We do not have access to any of your personal information, so we will just be looking for a transaction that matches the info you provide.

My School doesn't have a fundraising page on www.Shopping4Schools.com, what can I do?

Click on the Add A School link found on any of our pages. Fill out the short form, providing us with a little information about your school. We'll add your school as soon as possible, usually within a day or two. We'll send you an email when your school's fundraising page is operational. If you need to make an online purchase immediately you can always find another school to support for this one-time purchase. When your school's page is up and running your can begin using it for all future purchases. Your alternate school will greatly appreciate your support.
